Helena Seidel (@helena_laura_work), is an artist and Art Therapy student living in Barcelona, originally from Cape Town, South Africa; “a place I hold in my heart wherever I go.”

Helena draws inspiration from her immediate environment and the feelings she encounters as she journeys through life. Subsequently, her  artistic practice takes many forms: from movement, to sculpture, to paintings. It explores concepts that feel relevant at the time, namely: body image, sex, identity, love, heartbreak, feeling isolated, feeling empowered.

Although deeply personal, she feels her art is an ode to all Womxn and the connection we have through our many shared experiences.
